This delightful 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests and is set in the picturesque Bonnie Doon, right on the edge of beautiful Lake Eildon.
With a generous outdoor area and direct lake access*, it’s the ideal place to unwind and reconnect.

Spend your days cooking up a feast in the fully equipped kitchen or step outside to the deck to enjoy a BBQ while taking in sweeping lake views.
The famous Bonnie Doon Hotel is less than a 10-minute walk, giving you easy access to family-friendly dining options.

In the warmer months, stroll down to the water’s edge from the property and enjoy everything Lake Eildon has to offer. After a fun day on the water, return home for a peaceful overlooking the lake.

During winter, head up to Mt Buller for a day on the slopes, then come back to relax indoors—curl up on the couch with a book or movie, or gather around the designated fire pit for toasted marshmallows* and a true country experience.

Beyond the lake, the area offers plenty to explore, from scenic walks to nearby attractions. Or simply stay in, soak up the tranquility, watch spectacular sunsets from the verandah, and stargaze under clear country skies.

Only 15 minutes to Mansfield and approximately 2 hours from Melbourne, Nanda Lake House is the perfect base to explore the High Country’s mountains, rivers, and lakes—or to do nothing at all and just relax.

  We had an absolutely wonderful time at Nanda Lake House. The property was very clean, beautifully presented, and even better than the photos. It backs straight onto Lake Eildon, giving the whole home a peaceful, calming feel from the moment we arrived. Waking up to the stillness of the lake each morning was something we genuinely loved.
  
  The outdoor area was a standout. The fire pit made our evenings feel magical — keeping us warm as we sat under the Milky Way, talking, relaxing, and enjoying the quiet. We also put the BBQ to great use, cooking sausages, wings, and lamb ribs we picked up from IGA Mansfield, just a quick 10‐minute drive away. The garden added an extra layer of charm, with fresh rosemary, mint, and even a lemon tree we used throughout our stay. Those thoughtful touches made the experience feel personal and homely.
  
  Being only a one‐minute walk to the water’s edge was incredible. We spent plenty of time sitting by the banks, soaking in the view and fishing. We caught quite a few redfin, and the kids had an absolute blast reeling in carp. It became one of the highlights of the trip and created memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.
  
  The whole stay felt easy, relaxing, and beautifully simple — exactly what you hope for in a lakeside getaway. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our next visit. Nanda Lake House is a serene, high‐quality stay that we’d happily recommend to anyone visiting Mansfield or Bonnie Doon.
