This charming cottage provides comfort, warmth and coziness; Plus, a touch of the traditional retro look and feel.

The main kitchen and living area are upstairs along with 2 queen bedrooms and a bathroom.
Downstairs has another queen bedroom and the Kids Bunk Room, plus a small kitchenette equipped with fridge, microwave, oven grill and hot plates, small dining table and wood heater.
Please note: There are not internal stairs connecting upstairs and downstairs. External access only.
You will be spoilt for choice when wanting to relax & unwind.
Cook the family a BBQ on the top verandah but be ready for a visit by the local kookaburras and rosellas. Or head downstairs to the new decking and sitting area where you have a clear view to the starry starry nights.

In winter take the easy 3min drive to the entrance of Mt Buller, go for a bush walk or simply keep cozy indoors, relaxing on the couch by the crackling of the wood fire reading a book or watching a movie.... For that real country feel, take the kids and toast some marshmallows outside by the designated fire pit *conditions apply.

In the warmer months, wander down to the Delatite river for a paddle or splash in the cool clear water. Take the fishing rods and try your luck at catching a trout; or pack a picnic to the lovely Mirrimbah park only minutes away from the cottage. Bring your bike and go for a leisurely ride around the quiet Sawmill Settlement streets.

Apart from being one of the best locations for snow activities, there are many nearby attractions including horse riding, cycling, 4-wheel driving, motor bike riding, markets, plus much more and with an abundance of wildlife, great fishing and a relaxing atmosphere, you won't want to leave!
Milly @ Sawmill is a great base to set off from to explore what the High Country Mountains, Rivers and Lakes have to offer.
