The kids will love their own area in the lower-level bunk room which has space for them to sleep, rest and play. Equipped with their own living area, TV, books and split system plus bathroom.

Less than 30mins from Mansfield and within an hour to the Mt Buller Entry Gates, Jamieson Lakeside Retreat is a great base to set off from to explore what the High Country has to offer.

In the warmer months, head out on the water for some boating, fishing, swimming, or water-skiing fun with the added bonus of launching and mooring in eyesight from the house. (*Conditions Apply)
Explore some local waterways or just sit back on the verandah with a nice cold drink, listening to the BBQ sizzle away whilst the kids splash and play in the pool. Enjoy a hit of tennis or kick of the footy without having to leave the property.

In winter take a drive to Mt Buller, go for a bush walk or simply keep cosy indoors by relaxing on the couch by the crackling of the wood fire reading a book or watching a movie.... For that real country feel, take the kids and toast some marshmallows by the designated fire pit *conditions apply

Apart from being one of the best locations for water activities and snow sports, there are many other nearby attractions.
The local Jamieson Brewery and Courthouse Hotel are only minutes away and offer hearty meals in family friendly settings.

Take a leisurely drive to the old mining town of Woods Point or head back into Mansfield which itself is becoming renowned for its great cafes, boutique and arty shopping, golf course, and galleries, markets and festivals. There is usually something interesting happening on most weekends.

Alternatively, simply stay at home, relax and enjoy this fantastic accommodation where you can get lost in the sunsets and stargaze into the clearest of night skies.

  Overall we
  Enjoyed our stay but felt the property was I’ll equipped to cater
  Dow 12 people and
  * Gas bottle empty [ we filled]
  *Grubby BBQ cause a fire
  * No Fire extinguisher
  Two tea towels only for 12 people
  For a 4 night stay. ( horrible smell that needed washing before we could use them)
  Bug/fly infestation every night
  No broom to clean
  5 glasses (we bought plastic cups)
  8 plates (we bought paper plates)
  Minimal cutlery (We bought more and left at the property)
  Minimal lounge seating for 12 ( one couch and two chairs)
  Minimal outdoor seating and broken table
  House grubby on check in - kids snake lollies in cupboards, ants and bugs
  Horrible damp smell
  No towel rails in bathroom
  Insufficient kitchen supplies or seating for 12 people
  Dangerous driveway entry
  
  The view was spectacular, beds comfy and we loved the direct water access.... We felt with a little more thought and amenity put in here it could be amazing. Even just a coffee machine!!!
