Dawn Cove High Country Lakehouse is situated in a quiet cove on Lake Eildon in the serene location of Bonnie Doon.
With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & open plan living/ dining space, you will have everything you need for an enjoyable time away from the hustle and bustle of city living.
With the living areas upstairs & entertainment downstairs, it’s the perfect place for a family wanting to spend some time together yet still have their own space to play and/or relax.

In Summer, launch you boat via the concrete ramp directly into the lake (*conditions apply) & moor it on the private jetty; all in easy view from the property.
Enjoy some boating, fishing, swimming fun all within footsteps from the house.
You can easily watch the action on the lake from the water’s edge or you can see as far as the eye can go from either level of the house. The views are particularly breathtaking from the upstairs balcony, living area or master bedroom.

Cook up a storm on the BBQ while the kids play in the games room, fully equipped with Pool Table, Ping Pong, Foosball and lots more.

In winter, sit back and watch a storm roll in over the water or take a drive to Mt Buller for skiing, boarding and snowplay.
You can easily unwind in front of the fireplace with a glass of local wine or watch a movie on the large screen TV.
Upstairs TV has Foxtel.
Downstairs TV has free to air TV and Chromecast.

Dawn Cove is ideal for enjoying a good book or roasting marshmallows by the fire. Watch the wildlife that frequent the property, relax and enjoy the natural peace and watch the sunsets from the verandah and stargaze into the clearest of night skies.
For your enjoyment, feel free to use the pool noodles, canoes or non-motorised boat with lifejackets that are all downstairs. Fishing rods are also there to use if the lake is calling you and want to throw a line in.

Apart from being one of the best locations for water activities, there are many nearby attractions including horse riding, cycling, 4-wheel driving, motor bike riding, markets, plus much more & with an abundance of wildlife, great fishing & a relaxing atmosphere, you won't want to leave!
Dawn Cove is a great base to set off from to explore what the High Country mountains, rivers & lakes have to offer.

*Dawn Cove has the convenience of its own boat ramp where you can launch your own boat if water levels remain high, and ample space on the property to park your own boat trailer also.

  The location of the property was perfect for us as we have a boat. We were quite disappointed in the cleanliness of the house, the very dirty BBQ we couldn't use and the Jetty was completely un useable. Leith was an absolute pleasure to deal with when we had to call her and tell her about problems with the house. Overall the upstairs of the house was great once we had cleaned it and plenty big enough for all 8 of us who stayed. I highly recommend going to the Bonnie Doon Hotel for a meal.

  Our group used Dawn Cove as a base for a snow hiking adventure, and it was ideal. It's in a great location (on the lake), has plenty of room, is really well equipped, and the proximity to the snow was perfect for us. In addition, MHL was very helpful (prior to our trip) responding to questions and providing valuable advice. Our crew enjoyed themselves, and I'm very grateful.

  Dawn Cove is a HIDDEN GEM! The house showcased excellent view, a moving picture of Lake Eildon by the window.
  We chose this place as our getaway location for our day trip to the snow! —2 nights stay wasn’t long enough to truly enjoy the sceneries and the beauty the township Bonnie Doon has to offer! WILL DEFINITELY BOOK AGAIN FOR LONGER STAY — we’ll bring our own boat for fishing next time!
  The layout of the house gave our family of 8 the perfect space to chill by the fireplace lounge or hangout in the games area downstairs; perfect entertainment for all ages, toddlers to teenagers to young adults to young-at-heart!
  Cockatoo crew and verandah by the lake, lakeside BBQ and fully equipped kitchen — what a warm and cozy place to stay.
